The floors in food processing facilities suffer in a harsh environment due to cleaning and sanitation chemicals and hot water. In this case, an epoxy coated concrete floor is exposed to undiluted clean-in-place (CIP) chemicals, which eat away the epoxy and destroy the concrete slab underneath.
We are fortunate to have the manpower to master epoxy floor patches, as well as the contacts with Stonhard to ensure that we use the correct epoxy product to withstand the chemical in question.
This type of concrete and epoxy floor patching is just one of a multitude of projects we complete during plant shut-downs to keep them in compliance with their FSMA, HACCP, SQF, USDA and FDA requirements, as well as comply with their specific GMP’s.
