Carlisle, PA—GALBRAITH/Pre-Design, Inc. is pleased to announce that it was awarded a plaque for the 2019 ‘Warehouse Building of the Year’ by Robertson Building Systems. The award was presented to co-owner Allan Galbraith in recognition for the construction of Hershey’s Ice Cream, a cold storage warehouse/office facility located in Marietta, Georgia.
“GALBRAITH acted as CM/Owner’s Representative for Hershey’s Ice Cream’s 24,207sf ice cream distribution facility located in Marietta, GA. Our team orchestrated careful coordination between Robertson Building Systems, architect, general contractor, and thermal contractor,” said Galbraith. “It’s always a pleasure to work with Hershey’s Ice Cream, a longtime loyal customer.”
The Robertson Photo Awards are given annually and are designed to encourage professionalism and enrich the quality of images in the metal building industry. The Robertson 2019 ‘Warehouse Building of the Year’ award recipient was chosen from among projects submitted throughout the U.S. and Canada and was determined by a panel of judges comprised of project managers, drafters, estimators, and engineers. They unanimously selected GALBRAITH’s photo of Hershey’s Ice Cream as the clear winner of the warehouse building category.
